Our Story

In 1994 Sean and Darren Pierce began their life mission to produce the very best, ultra-premium, coffee available anywhere by blending various types of coffee beans. Their travels took them out west and they discovered a rare process called air roasting. This unique process takes the chaff, or outer husk of the coffee bean out of the roast as it’s cooking, producing a non-bitter, smooth tasting, clean bean.  Working like Mad Scientists, using this air roasting process and their knowledge of blends they experimented using the finest 100% organic, fair trade certified beans, from around the world. Born from their passion and experimentation the original Fogbuster Blend was created. They began offering this masterpiece blend to the community and it became an instant success. From those humble roots the Pierce Bros have grown to be recognized as the gold standard in coffee.
